I had never seen my father without a beard. My mother had never seen him without a beard. I asked him nicely to shave it so that everyone could see what he really looked like. Then I begged. He said he would only do it if I raised $10,000 or more for the summer camp he directed for over 20 years. Here is the crowdfunding video I created to do just that. Yes, we reached our goal, yes, I got to shave my dad’s beard, and yes, he looked weird.
